Dr Narayan Prakash
Dr. Narayan Prakash, a well-known name in the field of mental health treatment, as one its presiding OPD doctors. Comfortable working with anybody, including children and older adults, Dr. Prakash provides supportive psychotherapy for all his patients. Having worked with esteemed organizations like Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore and Davis Institute of Neuropsychiatry, Ranchi, he started his private practice in 1982. With more than 39 years of experience, Dr. Prakash is an expert in administering mental health and addiction treatment therapies and counselling. His specialties include obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Alzheimer’s disease, stress management, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family counselling, premarital counselling, marital counselling, and adolescent medicine. He also handles cases of addiction treatment (alcohol, substances, prescription and non-prescription), detoxification and holds the hand of the patient till they rehabilitate.
